Open every day from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m., the Live Homework Helpprogram connects students with qualified tutors for free, online helpwith school assignments.

Tutoring is available--in English and Spanish--in four contentareas: math, science, social studies, and English. Tutors do notprovide answers to questions or problems, but rather guide students tofind answers for themselves. Students can use Live Homework Help asoften as they like.

A non-Mac computer connected to the internet, along with a San DiegoPublic Library card and PIN number are all that's required to accessthe service. (To obtain a library card and PIN, visit any library branch location Optionally, the service may be accessed from city libraries without entering a library card number.
